Guidelines for Submissions on Resilience

Special Guidelines:

  • Poetry: Send one set of no more than 3 poems (3 pages max)
  • Fiction: Send 1 work of fiction under 10 pages (less than 2500 words).
  • No nonfiction for this theme (such as creative nonfiction or memoir)
  • Place in your email’s subject line either: Poetry of Resilience or Fiction of Resilience.
  • Deadline: June 20, 2025.
Plus These Usual Guidelines:
  • Send only previously unpublished work
  • Include your submission in one Word attachment
  • Mark simultaneous submissions and notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere
  • Don’t send a second submission until you have heard from us about your first submission
  • No AI writing
